Invitation to Bid: Replacement Kitchens Multiple Locations
The North Adams Housing Authority invites sealed bids for Replacement Kitchens at Ashland Park, 150 Ashland Street and Spring Park, 45 Spring Street North Adams, MA 01247 in accordance with the documents prepared by Roy S. Brown Architects.
The project consists of: replacement of 125 kitchens at Ashland and 53 kitchens at Spring. The cost estimate is $1.06 M.
Bidder selection, procedures and contract awards shall be in conformity with M.G.L. Chapter 149 Section 44A-H. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 §§26 to 27H inclusive, as well as Federal Davis Bacon wage rates according to wage decision included in bidding documents. The higher of the two wage rates is to be paid.
General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the Prime category of “General Building Construction” and must include a current DCAMM “Prime General Bidder” Certificate of Eligibility, and a signed DCAMM “Prime General Bidder” Update Statement.
Sub- bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the category of “Plumbing” and must include a current DCAMM “Sub- Bidder” Certificate of Eligibility, and a signed DCAMM Update Statement.
General bids will be received until 2:00 pm, Friday, December 15, 2023 at 2 pm and publicly posted forthwith.
Filed sub-bids in the Plumbing category will be received Friday 12.8.2023 at 2 pm and be publicly posted forthwith

Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than 5% of the total bid payable to the North Adams Housing Authority.

Bidders may obtain one full paper bid set from Projectdog for a refundable $50.deposit payable to Projectdog in the form of certified check or money order. The deposit will be refunded to all responsive bidders returning the Contract Documents in good condition within10 days of the bid opening. Otherwise, the deposit will become the property of Projectdog, Inc. Bidders requesting their refundable paper set to be mailed must supply a non-refundable shipping and handling fee of $25. payable to Projectdog.
