The North Adams Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for the Window Replacement for the North Adams Housing Authority in North Adams, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Roy S. Brown Architects.
The Project consists of: Replacement of existing vinyl windows with new at two separate apartment complexes. The work is estimated to cost two
hundred fourteen thousand dollars ($ 214,000.00) for Base Bid. Bidder selection, procedures and contract awards shall be in conformity with M.G.L. Chapter 149 Section 44A-H. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 §§26 to 27H inclusive, as well as Federal Davis Bacon wage rates according to wage determination included in bidding documents. The higher of the two wage determinations are to paid. Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the Prime categories of either "General Building Construction" or "Doors and Windows". Bidders must include a current DCAMM "Prime General Bidder" or "Prime Doors and Windows" Certificate of Eligibility, as well as a signed DCAMM "Prime General Bidder" or "Prime Doors and Windows" Update Statement. Bids will be received until 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 20, 2020 and publicly opened, forthwith.

Bidders may obtain one full paperbid set from Projectdog for a refundable deposit of fifty dollars ($50.00) made payable to Projectdog in the form of certified check or money order. The full amount of the deposit will be refunded to all responsive bidders returning the Contract Documents in good condition within ten (10) days after date of general bid opening. Otherwise, the deposit will become the property of Projectdog, Inc. Bidders requesting their refundable paper set to be mailed must supply a non-refundable shipping and handling fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) made payable to Projectdog.
